Clinic policies
How the clinic runs, in plain words.
Booking and deposits
Book on the booking page or call the school. There is no deposit: we hold your time without one. A student takes longer than a shop barber, so the page shows how long to allow.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours' notice so another client can take your time. If you are running late, we hold your chair for 15 minutes; after that the next person in line is taken.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a visit, call us before you book again. A student plans their day around your cut, so a missed visit costs them practice time.
How the line works
Most clinic cuts are booked. When a chair is open we take walk-ins in the order they arrive, and a booked client is seen at the booked time. Sign in on the board by the door. Waits vary; the board shows who is next.
Children and companions
Children are welcome with a parent or guardian, who stays in the school for the whole cut. Cuts for young children take extra time, so tell us the child's age when you book.
If you're not happy
Tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. An instructor will look at the cut with you.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and go to the student who cut your hair. You can leave one at the front desk.
Before your visit
Arrive ten minutes early with clean, dry hair, and bring a photo of the cut you want. Tell the student about anything you would rather keep.
