How tuition works
We do not print a tuition figure on this site. You get your tuition and payment schedule in writing at your enrollment meeting, and this is how it works.
What tuition covers
Tuition covers your instruction, the practice floor and the mannequin heads, your supervised clinic hours and your exam preparation.
Theory and practice, with an instructor at your chair
Mannequin heads in every hair texture
Clinic hours with real clients, supervised
Practice for the state exam
Your enrollment meeting
Before you sign anything, you sit down with Earline. She goes through the schedule, the kit and your tuition and payment schedule on paper, and you take it home to read.
Holding your seat
A deposit holds your seat in the group you chose and goes toward your tuition. The amount is in your enrollment letter.
Days or evenings
The program is the same on both tracks. The track you choose sets how your payments are spread over the months you attend, and your letter shows the schedule.
Your kit and supplies
Your kit is separate from tuition, so you can buy what suits your hands. The kit list comes at your enrollment meeting, with no brand required.
If you need to withdraw
Tell us in writing. We explain, in writing, what is owed for the time you attended, and your enrollment letter says how the state board's rules apply.
Get your tuition in writing
Ask for an enrollment meeting. You will leave with the schedule, the kit list and your tuition on paper.
